QVC Group, the parent company of home shopping networks QVC and HSN, has announced a significant restructuring plan that includes laying off approximately 900 employees, representing about 5% of its workforce. The layoffs are part of QVC Group's strategic shift toward becoming a "live social shopping company," aiming to enhance its presence on digital platforms such as TikTok, Facebook, and streaming services like Netflix and YouTube.
